Karen Hughes began her career at ARCA as a Human Resources Manager, was promoted to InterCare Division Director, and for the past three years has served as ARCA’s Director of Human Resources and Training.

Karen’s previous experience in both for-profit small business ownership and in a large, non-profit, educational setting enabled her to become an expert in employee relations, policy, compliance, engagement, and strategic planning.

Karen is passionate about ARCA’s mission. Her 25+ years of tangible experience coupled with her Bachelors of Science in Organizational Leadership has provided her with a unique opportunity to utilize her diverse skill set to achieve a meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of ARCA’s dedicated staff.
